Prior to forming Spilman & Associates, Mary was a partner in a local firm and a vice president with a large, national firm.

Before joining the executive search profession, she was on the corporate staff at The Williams Companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also served as fashion coordinator for Younkers Department Store, a large Midwestern retailer. She also managed successful campaigns for United States Congressman, James R. Jones, and State Treasurer, Kay Bailey Hutchison, before Ms. Hutchison became a United States Senator. She was educated at the University of Oklahoma.

Mary has successfully assembled teams for Fortune 500 companies, and brought talent to underperforming organizations. She is recognized for the strength of her ability to contribute to the overall business performance of each company through the quality of the candidates she brings to the organizations.
